Senior Football Success, Parents ‘Council News - Bingo, Awards Night 12th November 2012 Senior Football Success. On Friday morning the senior footballers took on St. Declan’s Kilmacthomas in the Munster Senior D competition. The Ard Scoil girls were leading at the break but Kilmac came back strongly in the second half and scored two goals. However the Ard Scoil girls fought on and held out to win by two points on a score line of 2-8 to 2-6. Well done to the girls and their mentor, Ms. Fiona Rocheford. Parents ‘Council News. Bingo. On Monday nights the Parents’ Council are running Bingo sessions which help to raise funds for the school. The Bingo begins at 8.15 so come along to support the school and have some fun....and bring a friend. The Council would like to thank all those who brought bags of clothes, shoes etc to the collection during the week in another of their fundraising efforts. A big thank you to all members of the Parents’ Council who work so hard to support our school. Awards Night. This Friday night, we in the Ard Scoil will gather to recognise the many achievements of our students in a wide variety of areas. I’m sure this will be a special night and we will have full news of all the awards next week.
