Lismore Music Festival

As a result of a letter written by Second year student, Aisling Curran, a group of our second years have been invited to attend the dress rehearsal performance of Rossini’s Barber of Seville on the 1st of June.

As in previous years, this new production will be part sung in English, making it approachable and engaging to all.

The girls were excited to hear that President Michael D. Higgins will be attending the Dress Rehearsal.  The girls are looking forward to enjoying this wonderful musical experience.

Practical Exams

It’s been a hectic few weeks as the 6th years had their Irish, German and French Oral exams while the Junior certs had their practical Home Economic exams and wrote up their Science and C.S.P.E projects and music students had their practical exams. Next week it will be the turn of the Art  students to take their practicals.
